Thought I'd share a bit of information with you about my characters and the storyline.

Mission: Explore countries, consult scholars, and collect unique Orchids

Length of Expedition: 52 Weeks

Mystery: L's expedition takes many unexpected twists and turns

Why is L sent on this Expedition?: She hopes to find an Orchidaceae specimen capable of a specific healing property. The discovery of this botanical wonder will be significant for the healing of someone 'unknown' to L.

I have been fascinated by flora and fauna since I was a child and orchid lover. There are many endangered plants here on this remote island and I wanted to create a story that would highlight this fact. I want to share a bit of Hawai'is unique history, culture and language that won't be found in a Tourist Publication. Note: These are fictional characters...however, many of the botanical scholars, explorers and artists of the 1800's are real. Mahalo.
